Seriously, there may never be a better time in all your life. I got more money for a RV I used for 3 years than I paid for 3 years ago. I essentially made $2k for just owning it for 3 years and using it. They call that an investment, which doesn't happen in the RV industry.

My 4Runner is likely $48k trade $52k private sell and I paid $43k for it 1.5 years ago.

    That doesn't make sense.

Now, if you're thinking of buying right now....well I have bad news...

Why do you want to sell?

Resale value is ridiculous right now. But, your mods don't really affect that. So, if you want to get some money back, put the stock suspension back on and sell the suspension here or elsewhere. The step-bars are about the only thing on your list that is an actual selling point.

I agree, IMHO, it's worth more stock than modded. If I was looking to buy a used vehicle, I would avoid one with aftermarket mods.

I would buy a 4Runner with mods, maybe.. and would consider it more if the stock parts were included. Resale wise, mods are a money pit... put money in, get little in return.

Why would you sell after throwing so much cash that you won’t get back so soon?

With the production cuts from Toyota, I wouldn't be surprised if the prices for used 4Runners increases even more in the next few months.
