4runner arrived at the dealership today, picking it up tomorrow morning!

On a side note, another dealer I had been working with tried to pull a fast one and said: "Hey I have an update, Toyota decided to lift and add wheel and tires to remaining 21 Black 4Runners." Replied that was most definitely not a 'Toyota' decision and that I'd be passing.

Excited to get back in an ORP!

 

Update - the new rig is in and will be ready for me when I get back from vacation on Tuesday. Pics forthcoming!

 

I picked my lunar rock up yesterday. Total beast. Could not be happier.

Update on order:
7/29 - ship arrived in Portland
8/13 - on a train from Portland to Chicago
8/23 - got an update from the dealership that it is in Chicago and should deliver to them this week in SW Michigan
8/30 - arrived at dealership this morning and I picked up this afternoon!

Getting the windows tinted and protective film on the hood, front bumper, and mirrors Wednesday.

Was due to arrive at port 8/23 but came a couple days early
Arrived at dealership last night with 1 mile on the odometer and I signed everything this morning. I’ll pick it up this afternoon once they finish the PDI

 

That's exciting news and a big congrats!! May I ask what state? I have one with a 20 Aug and one with a 24 Aug port date. I sold my truck yesterday and need a new rig.

 

Massachusetts. It was much faster than I expected. And even better, I paid MSRP with absolutely no ridiculous mark ups or add ons and they honored their original trade appraisal of my car from June.

 

Thank you. Absolutely, on the price! I feel fortunate to pay MSRP. Based on trends on here and other places, I'm expecting next week to 20 Sept dealership arrival time frame. Yours arriving earlier gives me hope of it arriving sooner.

 

That's awesome you got it so fast and at MSRP. I'm waiting for mine to arrive at the dealer. It got to port on the 19th of August so I'm hoping for any day now to get a call that it's arrived

 

If you know your color and options, you may be able to identify it on Toyota website:

Just narrow your search (add zip code, color, model) and you may be lucky to be the only one that ordered it with your options. That's how I tracked mine. I believe the list updates monthly or bi weekly. It is not a bullet proof way to identify your vehicle but it i smore than nothing.

False Alarm

 

About two and a half weeks from port to dealer ... picked it up last Friday.

 

Finally here!! Port was 20 Aug. 15 days from Port to arrival.

Thank you! I have some RSG sliders on the way, added the black overlays to the rear emblems, and getting ceramic tint all around. Considering the Westcott lift.

 

Nice I am looking at the RSG sliders as well. Which version did you go with?

I think I will be doing ceramic all around. Not sure if I am doing the windshield tho.

 

I went with the angled kick out with top plate in DOM and powder coated. I had them on my Tacoma and loved them. It's mostly just me in my vehicle but if I had smaller kids or carried passengers a bunch I would have maybe leaned more towards the flat rails. I did the windshield on the Tacoma and it was pretty awesome keeping the heat off you. It was the lightest ceramic tint they had.

 

So I’m new to all this. Bought my first 4Runner and am now waiting. The dealer shows it was at port 8/10, but isn’t changed since then. This thread seems that by mid to late September it should land at the dealer. Has that been most everyone’s experience? About a month/month and a half after landing at port? It’s is Oregon and has to travel to Missouri.

 

My limited research came up with about 20-25 days average with some less and some way more. Best guesses for the longer delays are port installed items that aren't available.
