On a 2019 TRD Off-Road, how does one turn the screen off? Also, is there a way to get away from the "split-screen" mode? When using the navigation I'd rather be looking at full screen than sharing it with another display. Thanks for any help!

I believe both options are in the settings because I had the same issue with split screen but I don't remember how to get there because I ripped that garbage out.

I'm going on 3 years of ownership and just figured out how to turn the display off. The choice is at the lower center of display, says display off. Somewhere in the setup section.

Having the display off is a huge benefit especially for night driving.

    I hardly use the radio.

Funny, display off is one of the first things I look for too. However, , the radio will work even with the display off…which is nice

An old Pioneer that was in my Tacoma and recently and recently a new Pioneer floating screen. The older unit really sucked but I had it and the floating screen kinda sucks because it tends to have the same connection issues as my older unit.

With the nav screen on, there is an option to press that will give you a 1, 2, or 3 window option.

In the split screen, if you tap on the map will it go to full screen? I forgot how it works exactly. But I’m certain the option to go to full screen isn’t in the “head unit main settings”. You access the option in the nav screen somewhere. Clicking one of the little icons in the corner. By the compass arrow maybe?
