    Hey 2G 4R fam,

what do you use to cap the brake line when removing the brake drum from the axle to reach the seal?

Pinch the rubber line with clamps or needle nose vise grips with 1/4” or 5/16” hose pieces on the jaws. The rubber line is on the top of diff. It goes to both the hard lines that go to wheel cylinders. Most of the time those seals go because the bearing develops play and it thrashes the seal, you should get the bearing done while you’re at it. You’ll need to find a machine shop that has the special jig to press the bearing.

Yea, but how do I disconnect the brake line from the drum without spilling brake fluid? Can I cap it off somehow? I'm looking at the top of the diff, but it's all hard line, not really rubber material. If I clamp down it in it'll pinch and kink the line
