Old pic but this was a rough build of what you’re doing. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Axle length suspension etc. D2C79C3E-2234-4C04-8A1F-EAD05EFACA51.jpg

Thinking of making a rack similar to that also what are the dimensions of that trailer? Was it a pre made or did u build the whole thing

Base was pre fab from Home Depot. I added the rack axle hubs wheels and tires. Then started in closing it. It’s a 4x6. Added a dexter 3500 axle on it.

Dropped my rig off to see what's up with the alignment this morning and just got back from picking it up. Thankfully they've got it tracking straight and true once again. Sadly, my caster is now back to stock settings as I forgot to mention I want that kept at +4 degrees. I'm not complaining though, my beast is driveable again and no more rubbing at full lock on the driver's side now!

Got a Walmart futon mattress (full size) for the upcoming trips.
It fits (barely) but in time it will be snug.

I would love to hear more about this. I have a standard 4x8 that does not fit my lawn mower any more. Do you have any other pictures you could share and any issues you ran into? Thanks!

At one point in time you could order these off “Car Trim Home” … but I don’t see them on there website anymore … found these on eBay … if that’s what you’re referring too…

Gotcha … haven’t seen anything specific to our 5th Gen yet … saw this vid a few months back and the only thing that I would do differently would be to as I tape up edges I would place small thin magnets spaced evenly around the perimeter and continue to fold over the duct tape to finish forming the frame edge …

Not much help, so good luck finding some.

There have been DIY window screen ideas in this forum and the other T4R forum.
Also there are these products, a window sock:
Magnelex Sock Style Car Window Shades for Baby – Block Sun Rays to Keep Passengers, Pets and Car Interior Cool and Comfortable – Elasticized Universal Mesh Car Shades Fit Most Vehicles (2 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08J8G4SF8

And snap in shades that function like screens:

No offense but if you get your stealth no-rise before me, I am going to be pissed! LOL. My order was confirmed in the queue on Monday. Person that called me said current lead time was 16-20 weeks (not going to hold my breathe).

Those Pelican Vault cases are awesome huh? I mounted one to my rack a few months ago, and I love how low-profile it is.

Yeah it's perfect. I'll be taking it out next week up the the Rockies so we'll see how well it holds up. I stuffed it pretty full.

Vault is the cheaper pelican or the car specific? Having a brain fart.
If it's the cheaper, don't put anything you need dry in it...
Friend is running one on top and it leaks in from the top. He hit up pelican and they said the "cheaper (forgot if vault)" are not water proof and only weatherproof. To which he said, the weather was raining.
    They didn't care.

There are specs for weather proof cases. Most of those say the case can handle some type of immersion for a period of time. A weather proof case on a rack is subject to pressure (penetration) and driving rain. Which is not the same as immersion.

I certainly wouldn't call it cheap. But I think you are right in that it is not water proof.

Well, it has happened to every single one of my vehicles to date...and it has finally happened to my 4Runner: Took a rock or something to the windshield and got a nasty chip in it.

Lifted my 2019 TRD off road with Icon Stage 6 kit, Vision wheels, and AT3W Falken tires. Rides beautifully, now just need new running boards and couple other add ons.

Finally got to test out the 8112/8110 BILS set up in Holcomb Valley. We got the 4Runner for our rock climbing trips, and this was the first time we got to put it to good use. Really impressed with these. Off road manners for a bolt in style coil over were incredible, and the digressive valving on the mountain roads going up to Big Bear put the OEM stuff to shame!
