yea some folks skipped that part. as for me, i'm sure there's a reason why the oem had a longer shaft. this aluminum filter fits the 4runner but it's not for the 4runner. it will work well as long as the shaft is swapped :)

Haha, I kind of dig those wheels, and I’m not a big after market wheel person, lol. They look like stock old time steelies. I’d just need to double check if they’re made in China or offshore. Nada if they are.

Yep those are the fifteen52 analog wheels. They're meant to look like old school steelies. Personally I think they're cool as hell, but I think they're heavier than stock. The reason I got FN Six Shooters was because they're nearly 10 pounds lighter. Nice score on the truck OP. Supercharger and ventilated seats for $32K is practically highway robbery.

After taking it out west and getting the wheels dirty, they have grown on me.

1552 is an iconic US wheel company, but they don’t say where their wheels are made. It’s a well kept secret which tells me they’re made in China. No thanks. Cool is only cool. There’s a lot of good reasons to give China a pass these days.

Their cast wheels are made in Taiwan, so if you're in opposition to the PRC you're actually more aligned with them than you think. Forged wheels are US made.

Thanks mynameistory, good to know. I’m in a minority that likes the stock wheels, but I have to admit that 1552 wheels are cool.

If I was buying wheels, I’d most likely go with Something that yota makes, but for now, it ‘it’s what it ‘tis.

That was a steal. My wife looked into trading in her limited 2018 with 31k miles on it and was getting the offer that you paid in trade in for it. That’s honestly a decent deal regardless of the additions.

    Can anyone prove this?

I just assumed they were her another Wuhan drop shipper mass ordering their wheels.

So I paid 31,500 plus taxes and bs charges, drove cross country and back in under 3 weeks last June , traded it in for 37,000 (End of May) and now it’s being listed for 43,502. Wow

Today I put a deposit down on the future Green Monster.

OFf-Road Premium, in Army Green with KDSS and a pull out Cargo tray.

Great deal on that vehicle!! For the price I would be nervous something major was wrong with it.

Nope, I told them I don’t care if it comes in the spring, that’s what I want and I’ll wait. It’s the same place I got my 17 Tacoma.

I have another dealership also looking, but no money with them yet.

Are you talking about the new 22 I ordered, or the 2018?

You have one of the earliest orders for a 2022 (that I've seen, anyways).

So I imagine you'll get one of the first ones.......minus the extra shipping time to Maine.

It will be interesting to see when the 2022's come out and if there's a delay due to the chip shortage or if they will be on time, but with fewer units available.

It appears that some are on their way to Toyota of Portsmouth in New Hampshire.

the dealership told me they are losing some of their allocations due to the shortage. I was also told they are not installing the sliding cargo tray due to chip shortages. Not sure how that works, but something about it allows them to push out vehicles quicker. Let’s just say, I came home and showered trying to get all the shit they flung at me. But took 2 hours for them to get my request set up, and 3 attempts at selling me more add ons.

    Interesting intel.

    Thanks for the update.

It will be interesting to see how the 2022 roll-out goes in such strange circumstances.

My guess is that demand will be crazy high and supply will trickling in for quite some time.
