    Just wondering if anyone out in Runner Land uses and older iPad for trail maps? If so, what programs do you recommend and have you ever used Sam's maps? Thanks!

    I use GAIA GPS on my iPad, works great.

    Gaia, Topo Maps+, AllTrails, OnX Offroad... probably the most common ones you'll hear about. All have paid versions with more functionality if you want, as well as downloadable maps for when you're out of cell range
