    Hi all! I've been lurking on the forum for a bit and have gotten so much great advice and opinions by reading through the discussions. Figured I would introduce myself and get more active.

    First T4R, factory ordered and finally delivered in February. First weekend I slapped on an ARB awning and went camping. Love it so far! Just hit 5K miles and planning on a cross country trip.

    Welcome from NY! Long Island here. Same rig minus the awning and predator steps (went aftermarket heftyfabworks still waiting delivery on).

    Welcome.. Looks great!

    Can we get details on the awning and bracket? I am looking for a similar setup soon.

    Thanks all!

    @T4Rrunning I used
    I can double check the U-bolt specs (I believe they are either 1 3/4" or 2" diameter as the tube is roughly 1 3/4"). The U-bolts sit on the top tube and line up perfectly with the L brackets, no extra drilling required which was great. I would have liked to flip the L bracket upward to gain awning clearance from rubbing on the car, but I wouldn't be able to clear the parking garage.. :(

    Let me know if you're interested I can grab some pictures this weekend.

    @Keirik Thanks for the welcome neighbor! Which steps/sliders did you go with? I'm actually contemplating selling the predators to replace with sliders. I love how they look but have hesitated on a few trails with them already..

    Here are some pics I took this weekend. An added benefit of angling the L bracket down is that the brackets rest on the lower rail for support. Driven 5K with it and it hasn't budged, still solid. I would recommend at least 3 mounting points if you are considering the larger 6.5' awning. Or anything larger than the 4' which I have.

    Hey man. Sorry for the late reply. I went with these
    https://heftyfab.com/collections/4r...0-4runner-rock-sliders?variant=36418535915674

    Just arrived today and look very well made. Think it was about a 6 week turn around from order to delivery. Don’t have them installed yet unfortunately since I’m still a couple of weeks away from taking delivery of my LR pro.

    Btw, also meant to ask since you are in Manhattan. Do you have any problems with any parking garages and clearance at all?

    Yup.. I'm right around 80"/6'8"with the Pro rack.. Have to be super careful because a lot of garage clearances aren't marked and most of them are 6'2". I'm pretty sure I have less than half cm clearance with the gate when I leave the garage. Definitely making my plans to utilize the roof difficult.
