Installed a trd pro grille today from CTH. Looks great and install was pretty easy. Unfortunately I left a piece of scotch tape on the varnish piece when trying to line up my letters. After everything was installed I noticed the small piece of tape and pulled it off only to realize the tape took some top layer paint with it. Any suggestions for touch up paint? This also makes me question the durability of this grille to stand up to the elements. Any suggestions are appreciated!

    Two thoughts.

1.sand it down and respray the whole thing

    2. Leave it. I’m sure worse will happen eventually, dirt, chip, rock, whatever. It’s a utility vehicle, not a Bentley. I’d rub some dirt in it and call it a day

Are you sure that's not just residue from the tape? Maybe try washing the spot with Goo-Gone or something.

Otherwise, If that's a painted part, Toyota should offer a matching touch up paint. If it's not a Toyota paint color, maybe take it to a hardware store and see if they can help you find a match.
