not sure why,I have four 4runners and none of those lights on the front sides work.i do not know if they are just running lights,or blinkers,I have never had them working,so I sort of thought they were just reflecters on the side, never even checked for a bulb. Are they blinkers,or what

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
Could you post a picture of the lights you mean. maybe? So we can be sure we're all talking the same thing here.
I am thinking you mean the "marker" lights, I believe Toyota calls them. They're not the brightest bulbs in the string, so to speak. Supposed to come on when the head lights are switched on. Americans call them Parking lights, if they're the ones I'm thinking of.

Also, the year and model of your trucks might help us to help you. Sure can't hurt :)

Hope this is a little help, anywho...

Yes correct the markers, they should be able to wire to blink with the bumper lights, they may make some after market harness adapter that might do it and put brighter bulbs, can’t believe Toyota didn’t do it.98,97 limited 4x4,97,98 2wd also

Wait, so did you do a modification to them and now they aren't working? Or are you looking to do a modification?

The are the side marker lights, I believe they either house the high beams or the day time running lights. The turn signal is mounted in the front valence under the metal bumper. I've seen this modification done, but they didn't say how they did it.

Those corner marker lights have been an issue on my car as the bulbs always seemed to go bad or just got a bad connection. I went with a slightly lower wattage bulb and never a problem again. Kind of weird.

Just remember to check the combined wattage on the circuit. Your 4 way blinker relay will potentially burn out if you add 2 more bulbs to it. A bulb is like 25W I think? Just do the math and make sure it's well under the relay rating.
