Tundra Convert. Just picked up my first 4Runner!

Howdy Ya’ll!! that’s my Massachusetts dialect, sorry).

I recently lost my mint 04 Tundra with new frame and only 85k to some one texting and driving and plowing into the back of me

Decided to go a different route with a cheap old TR4

purchased this 03 Runner Sport V8 with 198k miles for a whopping……$4,000.

the plan is to see how far I can take this $4000 suv. Main uses will be putting around town and taking it camping.

Already has some old Bilstiens with a small lift. Haven’t had it to my mechanic yet so fingers crossed there’s nothing too too bad. If all checks out I plan to start improving the suspension, probably add a roof rack (mainly for lumber hauling) and going over it and repairing and upgrading what I can.

Suggestions and advice always welcome!!
