Alright finally got the head gaskets done on 95 4runner 3vze and find there's no spark. I got 12V going into ignition coil and 12 V to the module next to it. Attached grounds; to passenger side cam cover, 2. under power steering pump / by AC pulley, 3. To fender, 4. Drivers side lifting hook on head.

Is there a sensor not receiving a signal? Battery was just charged and has 12.6V. Cranks very well.

Other issue which may be related but hasnt been fixed is that while my key went missing, I have to start with ignition key housing removed and insert a small flat head in the ignition switch which actually contains the wires. Some time ago this method failed and so I started to run a jumper wire across the wiring leads and this would get me home.

I fail to understand what is really the problem as two other brand new ignition switches were installed and I was not able to start with a flat head any longer but would have to jumper it.

Anyway I am writing for help. I have been working too long and not getting very far so thought before I start smashing things I would come

Changed spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor. Old plugs were shot. Air gap on distributor is in spec and is rotating. My efi relay is working properly. Battery was charged and is sitting at 12.6v.
Ignition coil has 12 on both primary and secondary side with .4ohms on primary windings. My meters range isn't high enough for secondary windings which in the book should be 13k ohms I believe. Not sure where to go now other than get a meter with higher range.
