Bad rear

Hello every one, Glad to be among other 4runner owners and am hoping I can get some good advice. I've been a happy owner of a 2000 sr5 with a v6 and 4 speed automatic transmission four the past 6 years. Owning toyota trucks and suvs on long island in new york can be a challenge especially down by the ocean. The first thing I did when i looked at this vehicle was to check the under carriage. It had a moderate amount of rust but passable. As soon as I bought it a body shop and had it undercoated. Im finding that the body shop did a less than stellar job and things have gotten so bad that the rear differential is leaking through the housing and needs to be replaced preferably the complete assembly including backing plates so if someone could turn me onto a source for reconditioned rears I would really appreciate it. thanks

 

Pull/Pick a part is a good option but don’t know about your area.
