I've got the TRD Offroad Premium with nav system. Noticing my compass display on the dash is 180 degrees off. Should be automatic with the GPS. Reading the manuals, there is nothing about calibrating that. Anyone else experience this and fixed it?

Are you sure you are interpreting the compass correctly? Toyota’s choice of pointer symbology sucks and always confuses me at first glance.

Read through the owners manual for the navigation system. There are options regarding the display orientation of the map. There is a setting where North is always up - which is great if you are always traveling North. The setting I use is up is the direction of travel (duh). Less confusing, and I find the compass heading makes more sense that way. In any event, the vehicle does not have an actual compass. As mentioned above, the information comes from GPS.

Yeah, thanks for the help. The visualization of the compass direction is unusual and confusing to me. The triangle pointer rotates around the direction of travel, instead of having the directional pointer sweep the circumference of a directional dial. I'm used to an actual compass. I'll just ignore the compass completely. It's not a helpful visual reference for me.
