Every kit I pull up has the flat belt pulley on the water pump. Just bought the Aisen TKT 005 kit and it has the flat belt pulley.
I need one with the V belt pulley with studs to mount the flan.
Anyone have a part number for the right kit?

    Go to PARTSOUQ.com
    Put in your VIN (IMPORTANT)
It should pull up the correct diagrams for your vehicle.
    Locate diagram with water pump.
    Find the TOYOTA part number.

Google that number to cross reference parts.

That's usually how I find part numbers now.

Ok, my mistake. The pulley bracket is in front of the water pump and hides it until you have it off.
    everything fine now!

I actually tried to go into PARTSOUQ and find your pump but without a VIN there are a hundred or more 4Runner 3rd gen variations to choose. I picked one I thought was close and it looked like the pump was separate from the pulley but couldn't be sure. Glad you got her figured out.

Well, finally got the job done. It was a different process than our other 4runner, a 1998 model. This time I had
to pull the AC compressor and it's bracket off the motor in order to get access to the belt tensioner mechanism
    bolts.
On the 98, I had enough clearance to install the belt just by using the special pulley tool that pushes against both
the tensioner pulley and the water pump pulley, thus compressing the tensioner and locking in place with the lock pin
provided with the tool. Had to pull the right front tire to gain access to that side of the block.
For some reason, when installing the ac bracket back on, every bolt was a fight to get back in. This one took much
longer than the 98 when I did it.
    But up and running now!
