    Hi all,

I have an 89 2 door 4runner, 1st of the 2nd Gen series, that has the 'hatch' style side windows behind the driver and passenger that pop the window out an inch or two.

I never open these hatch windows and have found that I'm always having to fix the latches and seals on them and air, water, noise etc tends to get in them. Often water builds up on the roof top tent over night and then pours in the window when I drive off in the morning.
I could get new weatherstrips and latches etc so it's tighter, but because I don't ever open them I'm considering removing the weatherstrip and finding some sort of window trim/seal to permanently fix the windows in.

Has anyone done this or have any ideas as to what kind of trim/seal that would allow me to fix these windows in permanently??

    Much appreciated all!
    Todd.
