2018 Limited 4Runner No Heated Seats

Just purchased a used 2018 4Runner Limited. Heated seats was a must have for my wife and we didn’t notice that when we drove it off the lot that there were blanks where the heated seat controls would be. How much am I looking at to have the dealer install this option. I’m shocked a Limited trim does not have heated seats.

 

Hate to ask but are you sure you bought a limited? All 2014+ limited 4Runners should come with seat heaters.

 

Yeah I’d double what it is you bought.

My ‘17 Limited has heated/cooled seats

 

Our 18 had heated and cooled seats.

 

The limited seat heating and cooling controls are up on the dash, not down where they are with the other trims.

 

Yep, check the dash under the infotainment. It'll be to two round button knobs. If it's a limited it'll be there.

 

You may have to push them so they pop out to turn.

Did you buy it down south where Heated Seats might be an option? Personally, I have not heard of a Limited from 2014 - Current not coming with Heated and Cooled seats as @Mtbpsych point out.

 

Thanks all for the responses! I bought it in Northern CA. I pick it up on Monday and only test drive it for a few minutes. I was basing my assumption off the blanks downlow by the cup holder. I did not look under the infotainment center like you guys mentioned. I will check it out on Monday and report back!

Heated seats were right there, you guys were right! Feel like a dummy. I have a couple more questions for you guys :

how hard is it to upgrade the stereo to something with CarPlay?

Remote start options?

There’s so many blank pop-outs, what are some of the common upgrades people do to these?
