There was a chemical plant in Illinois that had an explosion this weekend. The word on the street is there is going to be a grease shortage. Just FYI maybe pick a few extra tubes, or case.

I plan on doing just that! I have used Berryman Chemtool products since I first discovered them in a US Navy hobby (car) repair shop back in the mid '60s. Chemtool B12 carb cleaner (both aerosol spray and liquid) are the most powerful I have ever seen for cleaning carbs and throttle bodies. Also, not advertised for this, the product instantly kills ants, wasps, roaches, whatever - it is a potent product so be a little discretionary in it's use. Walmart carries the liquid Chemtool but lately only O'Reilly's Auto Parts seem to carry the aerosol (locally) which is the best for cleaning carb & throttle body throats - the liquid B12 is amazing when poured in the fuel tank. I've had friends with rough running ATVs that smoothed out in several minutes after pouring a little B12 in their fuel tank. Good stuff!

Here's what it looks like: https://www.amazon.com/Berryman-011...1&keywords=Chemtool+B12&qid=1623798909&sr=8-4

    Note: all 5 star reviews

I’ll have to look into that. Never heard of or used B12. I have friends with Atv’s and snowmobiles that have issues every fall. I keep telling them to use non ethanol for their toys, it’s hard to find a bit but it sure starts easy.

Hmm...I might see about grabbing another tube or two of Red N Tacky this weekend.

There's more than one grease manufacturer, so it's probably going to be ok. Let's not make grease the next TP, lol.

Also, a silicone plant in China went up last week in what I hear was spectacular fashion.
