Is it possible to change headlight bulbs to HIDs? I noticed that there is no cover plate behind the housing to replace bulbs like 2010-2019 4runners.

Not sure but I think some of the newer Toyota’s with the factory LEDs come with sealed units. So you’d have to do a retrofit style job to to any mods.
