New Guy Intro Post

Hello All, new guy checking in.

I've been lurking on this forum for awhile now doing research for a potential 4Runner purchase. I'm planning on buying a 4Runner about this time next year. MY2023 changes will determine if I buy a Gen 5 or 6. I'm aware of the "first model year" potential issues, but with Toyota I'm not overly concerned. Of course we'll have to get past the current chip shortage and all the other production obstacles going on around the world first, so we'll see where we are with all of that next year.

This would be my 2nd Toyota, I previously owned a 13 Tundra Rock Warrior. I've also been around forums long enough so I won't be the guy asking questions like "When should I change my oil" or "Which blinker fluid is best".

I've used the search button a million times before and will continue to do so.

Thanks to everyone who has previously shared info, I may have learned something from one of your posts.
