Just how impossible is it to make a 2nd gen 4runner gauge work in a 3rd gen

The 2nd gen 4runners have the best gauges cluster of any generation. They get gauges for oil pressure, temperature, voltage, and fuel. The third gen 4runners get only fuel and engine temp, and the rest are idiot lights.

The more I think of this, the harder this swap sounds. I know plenty of digital displays are made to show this information, but I want it too look original even if the gauge doesn't belong in a 3rd gen. At least my 4runner lacks abs, so I don't need to worry about losing that light.

The voltages on the pins would be off, and the connectors are probably different. Extensive modifications to the wiring harness would likely be needed, sensors for voltage and oil pressure would need to be added others would likely need to be changed. I read someone did a swap from an SR5 to a 91 pickup. I know this is definitely a long shot but maybe the 2nd and 3rd gen gauge clusters don't have to be modified all that much to work.

Does anyone have the pin diagram for which pins of the connector do what on 2nd or 3rd gen gauge clusters?
