What do you put in the wheel well cubbies?

So I was getting my rear storage all situated yesterday, and kept trying to find things that would fit in the cubbies above the wheel well and make sense to be in there, and kept coming up blank. It's a real small space, and kind of awkward to get to.

So. What do you put back there?

To be clear, I'm talking about these two little guys:

I ended up putting my NOCO GB40 in one side and the accessories bag w/ the clips etc. in the other, because I ran out of room in the big bin for it haha seems like a poor use of space to me though.

I don't like things rolling around loose so I keep the cubbies empty. Anything that I carry with me on a regular basis I keep inside the drawers that I built.

Yeah anything that would otherwise be loose I put in the black modular bin on the right. Do yours have lids? It looks like it's more of a well or pocket without a lid, but I can't tell. I'll have to get a better picture later, but mine is maybe 6x4x2"deep with a small lid. 2007 SR5

It's just such a small space, I don't know what would fit besides like, maybe a small air pressure guage?

    Nice looking drawers, btw.

The trays? Those things are pretty useless. If I was going to store something I'd pull the tray and drill it for a shock cord, knotted on the bottom (out of sight). You could then at least secure stuff.

Edit, NM, 4th gen forum. Sorry. I'm retarded.

For those curious or with different trim levels/years that don't have them, this is what I'm talking about:

Work gloves, ARB quick tire deflator, key for rear locking hitch pin.

By the way for anyone who doesn't want full drawers yet... 2 Front Runner Wolfpack totes with the regular top fit juuuust perfectly under the upper storage level thing when raised. I stuff 2 in there as my bug out box and tool box, plus there's a bit of space between for a small toolbag or folding chair.

I didn't notice the thread was about 4th Gen 4R's. Mine is a 5th Gen and does not have lids on the cubbies.

This is the box I have underneath mine, it fits great. By my math two would fit side by side if I rotated it 90 degrees. I'm debating buying a second one just for the pleasing fit and symmetry haha

I have vertical side ones in the 2018 and on one side the damn cover keeps popping off it doesn't stay on very good. One of these days it's getting sold/traded for the 4-door pickup I should of bought to begin with. I'm not really into a newer vehicle that feels like it's straight out of 1980. Manual on/off headlights, no automatic setting for the heat/AC... Yeah I get I purchased the wrong trim level but I want a pickup... Maybe one of these days, I drive my beater Accord more and the 4R sits in the garage should fetch a few bucks.

OK, I remembered incorrectly. The tool set (not to be confused with the jack set) was in the larger compartment. In the smaller compartment I found an unopened cargo net. Figured out "Toyota 4-Runner Floor Port" was meant to be placed port-side in the floor compartment where it was found.

On one side I keep spare lightbulbs and fuses. On the other I keep various work gloves. Also, some light rope like Paracord and/or jute/sisal rope/twine.
