None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
IF it were me, and it's not, I would keep the 02 4Runner. Why, you may ask? No because of the lower mileage, altho I considered that, but because of the "insane overkill maintenance".

These trucks, if you keep up on the maintenance properly, will keep on truckin', as the saying goes. Forever. Heck, I'm still driving my 87's. I kept up on the normal maintenance, and they've both been very good to me.
Now I get to see how my 99 treats me. It's a former fleet vehicle, and yes, had insane overkill maintenance. I've already greased the u-joints (they needed it), replaced the fan clutch which was bad, and so on. The little things are what add up to make a vehicle that's just bomb-proof.

All my long-winded, rambling way of saying, go with maintenance every time, and you will be rewarded with a looooooong lasting truck.

All this is just my opinion, though, and we all know what those are worth...

Hmm ... what is your reason for not wanting to keep the better maintained 4Runner over the other one? Is having an elocker that big a swing?

I have heard the 2002 is not as good and people have to literally disable new stuff they added .... and that the 1999-2000 were a lot better... is that true?
