What's up everybody. Just grabbed a 2021 T4R Pro in Super White about a month ago. Looking forward to enjoying and learning about this platform. Newbie to the 4Runner world. From my time in the Evo world... forums like this one have proved invaluable!

First mod for the 4Runner was ripping out the factory Foxs and installing Bilstein's 8112 in the front and 8110 dual bypass in the rear along with new rear springs. Looking forward to updating you guys on how these behave on and off road.

Why pay the $$$ premium for a pro then rip out the suspension?

    Nice truck.

    willkommen.

    Nice shocks!

Very curious to hear your thoughts on them.

Total cost to me on the Bilsteins parts and labor was $0 so it was a no brainer. My friend is an engineer for them and they don't make a kit for the 19+ Pro yet. I get to be the guinea pig. Bilstein just dropped it off yesterday, so I am breaking in them in now, but I can see a lot of Pro owners interested in making the switch of a more capable set up but short of a long travel kit.

On paper, they look like one of the best 'OEM replacement' coilover set-ups for our trucks. The adjustments you can make to them are awesome!

I'd get them in a second if funds allowed it.

Do you know the spring rate of the coils up front?

    600lb up front.

I have them on the lowest setting up front which was a 1.2" raise over stock. The rears are fixed at 1" higher.

Here is a good video on them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqLVRJbJ2vQ

So far I've only driven them on road as I'm on a road trip and just got them yesterday. In 104 Fresno heat the freeway manners are miles ahead of the OEM FOX and offramp cornering etc. noticeably more stable. Can't wait to get out on some trails!
