The 4runner 2022 TRD Pro will have the same color

Different to say the least.

 

Good, I won't need to buy a '22 Pro...

 

I dig the color. Blacked out will look awesome. This and the blue they have.....

 

Looks just like Jeep "Mojito".

Like it on the Tacoma, but just too much green space/area for the 4Runner.

Does the automotive world have a fire sale on paint colors every so often, that auto manufacturers just can't resist buying?

Wait, what model is that again? That TRD Pro bed stamping JUST ISN'T BIG ENOUGH.

 

Yikes. I do like that they are pushing the boundaries with color choice, but, that said, it would not be close to my first choice. As to the bed stamping, I guess the designers figure the Pros need even more aggressive badging to stand out in a world of TRDs, whether they be the tried-and-true ORs or the TRD Sports. (which I feel are a real sad dilution of the sub-marque).

 

I like my nautical blue just fine. Probably would never buy a pro anyway.

 

Kind of reminds me of my 2003 Triumph Speed Triple.

I dig it on the Taco.....not sure about the T4R. I was super keen on getting a Lunar Rock T4R until I actually saw one in person and I felt that Lunar Rock looked way better on a RAV4.

BTW I saw a different photo from that same event where the fender from the red Tacoma was in the foreground and it looks like a new non-metallic red - definitely didn’t look like Barcelona red - like the final special edition of the FJ
