New to the Yota world. My 2014 came with 1 key (AJT design). I wanted to make extra keys so I bought a couple keys off Amazon and got them cut at my local hardware store for free. Downloaded Techstream and Keygen and bought a cable off Amazon. Went to try to register the spare keys with the immobilizer only to find out that the only one key I had was not a master key so it would not allow a new key registration. I proceeded to reset the immobilizer ecu by wiping all codes which would make my one key obsolete. Fun, right? I realized I did not have the passcode for that procedure. Well I spent $25 to buy 5 token on pin-online to be able to obtain the passcode. All in all, I registered all my keys and now have a master key and 2 spare keys for less than $80.
I just wanted to say that I have 4 tokens out of 5 left if anyone is in need of a passcode to make a master key or to wipe their immobilizer out. Or if anyone wants a copy of the Techstream. Happy to help!
