Hello all. This has been an awesome forum so far with a lot of smart people giving good advice.

So I just finished doing a 2inch Bilstein lift on my 99 4Runner SR5 2WD. I’m currently running oem 2015 tacoma 17x7.5 wheels that I believe are a +30 offset (Info from google search - can someone confirm this?). Tires are 265/65r17.

After the lift, I noticed that the UCA is really close to the tire, maybe 3/4 inch. I’ve attached a pic.

I was wondering which wheel/tire size combo can I run without it rubbing the UCA? Oem UCA were replaced with oem at the same time as the lift. As of now it currently does not rub...thank god! I want to keep the oem UCA since they’re new and not have to get aftermarket UCA.

I was thinking of going with 16x8 steel wheels from America Tires. There are a lot of variations with offset and I want to get the right wheel/tire combo as to not rub the UCA. I’m a little hesitant because I don’t want to purchase a combo that will rub -then I’ll be stuck with it.

thanks in advance. I’ve attached a few pics of my UCA and the oem Taco wheels I’m currently using. The white thing there is a Bic Lighter for size reference.

Offset on the newer style wheels cause them to sit closer to the uca than correct year model.

I take it you haven't gotten an alignment yet; a proper alignment will cause your wheel to sit differently than where it's at now.

appreciate the reply! Yea haven’t gotten an alignment yet. I’m doing some research on the correct wheel size to get to be able to fit 285/75r16. The wheels I am interested in are 16x8 with -12mm offset and 4” backspace. Will this work? Thanks again! Thought no one was going to reply.
