2021 Magnetic Grey Limited Redwood interior

Hey yall thought I would try my luck here, I am looking to buy a new 2021 Magnetic Grey Limited Redwood interior, but I am getting jerked around by dealers I think 44k for this is a fair price, I am paying cash and ready to buy today. Do yall know anyone who has this? I would not mind driving. Located in Atlanta.

 

Can't help with locating one, but telling the dealer you're a cash buyer is not helping your negotiation. Negotiate first and let them think you'll finance. They make good money with financing.

 

exactly, the dealer makes more money with financing....and they usually get a 'kick back' from the Bank...despite CASH is king, most dealers don't like it...

while the most buyers are Limited trim (at least here in Ontario), I had to order one at the factory in Japan for my TRD OffRoad
never mention cash or trade in, do all negotiations and then bring it up

 

It's the worst time in history to buy a 4runner. If you wait a few months after the holidays when inventory comes in and people are broke you will find much better deals

 

i am a little too eager, I might just do it this weekend having trouble finding that exact trim
limited, 4x4, magnetic grey, redwood interior

 

If you really want to get one now; try searching car gurus and looking at all the inventory, that can help you nail down who may have one or how far you might be willing to go to get one

 

Good points above about dealers preferring financing due to the kickbacks. They also love trades because they fatten their margins there too.

But also worth pointing out that 44K is a pretty good discount on a Limited. I'm sure some dealer will sell at that price, but they're unlikely to be enthusiastic. My Limited stickered for almost 50K (included the $1300 third row option) and it was hell getting my dealer down to $44,500.

the US sales have never been better for the 4R, they wont haggle cause they know they will sell without a problem

Cool. In my experience, this dealer is straight up with its pricing. No bait and switch nonsense. They honor their advertised price and don't play a lot of games. But they also really really don't want to go below that price. So, I think this price represents a reasonable discount given current market conditions. You could do better, but if you didn't you shouldn't feel like it was a rip off.

 

just got off the phone with them looks like they are a high volume dealership, they offered $47,430.00 does that sound good?

 

I'd def take that if I was happy with the car. Especially if I didn't want to waste days or weeks in order to save a few hundy more.

 

Apologies, I may have misunderstood your post. You're saying you found the one you want in Magnetic Grey for $47,430? I'm assuming that wasn't the quote you got from the dealer I sent you, which was advertising a black one for 44,700. I went a bit dyslexic and thought you'd written 44,430.

In any case, if it's a grey one from another dealer I'd still go for it. Odds aren't great you'll find that same color combo anytime soon and for a lot less money. So why bother. You said you're paying cash, so the purchase is presumably not a really heavy lift financially.

ah lol now it makes sense. Yes I'd totally do that if you like that particular vehicle.

That price shows they gave you a further discount, cause taxes and fees would have added up to more than 48K

 

I might just use their quote to help negotiate a lower price from a dealership that has the color i want

Yes you're right. I had thought the 4x2 only came on the SR5 but I stand corrected. The Limited comes standard with 4x4 but the 4x2 is available.
