New 2021 4R/TRDORP with 650 miles. Just received her first wax/detail Saturday. Now she goes to Krown Rust Proofing this morning.

I've read on another Thread that one weak point with the 4R is how the frame is prone to rust - at least in certain climates. Apparently Toyota just paint's the frame. No real coating to retard rusting.

So thank you Forum members for this information. This Forum continues to be of great help.

Yeah I live in the rust belt and I need to get mine done as well. The place that I will have it done at does both the Krown Rust Proofing as well as spray in bed liners. So I plan on ordering a set of rock sliders that I want to get sprayed with bed liner. That way I get 2 things done at once.

All done. They told me the process would take 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Took 1 1/2 exactly, including washing the outside. You apparently need to have this done once a year for the warranty to remain in effect. Did not ask if the warranty is transferable. But it's at least good for as long as you own the vehicle. I like how the stuff goes on clear. They even do the fire wall and top of the fenders. Think it was well worth the $140.00.

Thanks for the recommendation. Once my SR5P arrives it will be getting it.
