Time To Make Friends

Hello,
I have an 89 v6 sr5 with the original engine and trans, 208k. Just put some BFG ko2's on it. Trying to find others that want to do some exploring, nothing extreme (extreme for a newbie) Looking for local meetups and hangout sessions. I have been in the VW community for 30 years with a 67 type II, but having trouble finding the same comradery in the 4runner community.
Local to Riverside, CA The only Riverside without a flowing river. who is out there?

Oh I have.. Wish I had a garage that wasn't full of crap. I just did an OC today, in the dirt.. Mobile 1 full synth and a K&N oil filter. I'd like to have her repainted, but I can not find a person who can re-pop that graphic. Interior is super clean as well I even have the original tape deck! And just a small tear in the drivers seat. Needs 4 new shocks ad a steering stabilizer. Sits kind of low, maybe 3/4" above the front bump stops and the rear leafs are not quite flat, but getting there.

 

If there was one that nice near me, I'd buy it. I bought a 1988 new (gray, 5-speed) and drove it to 305k miles, when it lost a head gasket. Still miss that thing. Original paint, even if imperfect, adds character. I wouldn't fret that.

Cactus + Palm Trees almost certainly means California.. The only Riverside without a flowing River, also the most populous at 331k people..
I wish I could just clear coat the current patina, right over the graphics and flaking clear coat. I love original paint vehicles.. OG interior is clean as well..
