Hello everyone My question is will stock four runner wheels fit over the new Tacoma calipers and rotors on a break upgrade?

Pretty sure Tacomas have the same calipers and rotors. Tundra is the brake upgrade. For those you need at least 16" wheels; larger is recommended.

And seems to be 2 different Tundra calipers, WE and WS (not sure of latter) mold identifiers in caliper. To use WS calipers, dust shield trimming appears to be necessary, which WE calipers apparently don't require. Planning this upgrade with WEs and Tundra LBJs at same time, will update when done.

I believe the WE’s are the 199mm and the WS are 213mm, and i also think that there is only one oem 16” wheel that will not clear with the 213’s.

Yes, believe you are right. Would 199 and 213 be a measurement in mm (length?), or tied to some obscure code system?

WE casting for 199mm calipers off 2000 Tundra will not require trimming of dust shields. WS casting 213mm calipers will require said trimming. Obviously both will need Tundra rotors.

I would do the Tundra LBJs at same time.

CBI plate rear bumper with swingaway, SPC Light Racing UCAs, ARB SS170HF Safari snorkel w/ Afrikaans centrifugal pre-cleaner, Tacoma antenna mod, TRD Supercharger w/ URD 7th inj. & URD pulleys, Anti-Dark engine bay lighting system. Having gone 250k, Aug 2016 was the time to replace the original clutch & get the driver's seat rebuilt/stuffed. Front & back Weathertech liners. '05 Tundra front disc brake swap. Full length Rocky Mountain Rack with 40" lightbar, Alternating strobe rear dust lights. I used a warm weekend in March 2022 to finally install my brand new from old stock 2000 4Runner driver's seat. $800 directly from the factory in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.
I've done this mod. 2005 WE 199mm Tundra rotors & calipers only. The Tundy calipers require at least a 16" rim b/c the clearance is about 1/8" to 1/4". The fun part is I bought new parts from Napa for $380 which is about 2/3 the price for Toyota OEM. The Tundra LBJs don't fit 4R, neither do the Taco's. Toyota corp says that LBJs need to be replaced every 100k BUT they are over engineered to last up to 200k. I bought my replacement LBJs from Amazon for about $100/each. Wear limit is 1/32" of play.

You'll love the Tundy brakes, I can stop on a dime & give change.

Husky, when you did your Tundra upgrade, did the brake lines reconnect to the new calipers without modification? How did that go?

Everything work out great I used all new toyota parts and I do recommend new metal brake lines one broke when I loosen the brake line the both of them were only 20 dollars and I used steel braided brake hoses for the front I have them for the rear just haven't installed them yet and you may won't to use a brake bleeder so you don't wipe out the master cylinder when bleeding the brakes and if you look on the web there is a listing that shows what wheels fit what calipers I did the big calipers I have 16inch wheels flower wheels I think that's what they called them my next upgrade is a super charger with a 7th injector system
