I noticed very little lighting in the cargo area of the 4Runner.
The two dome lights in the lift gate does not illuminate the interior very well.
I added two aluminum casing strip lights from VLEDs 5000k costs $8 each.

I apologize that I do not include a HOW-TO because I have little patience while working.
I ran power and ground up towards the lift gate area and soldered to cargo dome circuit.
Took me a long 3 hours from start to finish.
2 cubby pockets where is houses the lights at an angle without it being an eye sore.
Here is the output picture at night. Let me know your thoughts.

Looks great. I noticed that too. What cargo mat is that? I like it better than my husky liner one and it looks like it fits over the 3rd row nicely.

Looks good! I have the same cargo mat and it works well.

Is that a canvas back cover as well? Those second row seats look to have something covering them.

Yes I have the canvas back too. If I did it again I'd buy complete kit then sell the cargo area. Second row only was $100 plus shipping.

Added same strip lights to foot well area a while back. I plan to add another pair under front seats to illuminate rear floor.
