Wait did you just plug into a random fuse location or did the instructions say to plug there?

FYI the 2020 have different fuses alignments especially in the cab fuse box and a little bit as well in the engine bay fuse box, I had to play around to fine an empty one that wasn’t “always hot” and ultimately, could not, just used the included n+1 fuse tap included and went into the spot recommended. Unfortunately it means box in engine bag doesn’t close perfectly, but tight enough- I was able to do the bolt trick - if standing by front driver tire looking across the engine bay it’s the bolt apparatus in the back right of fuse box- to feed the wire up and through so it at least looks a little cleaner.

but yes to answer your question, the empty engine box fuses spaces all seem to be always hot.

So I plugged mine into the “INJ” spot on the engine bay fuse box with the adapter my lights came with to have 10/5 fuses.. they are on only when the engine is on, then turn off.

I did just discover yesterday that the cabin fuse box is unfortunately different in the 2020s as we attempted to install a switch, and finally gave up until I do a little bit more research.

I have a brand new set of raptor lights for sale on here. I decided not to add them. I put my Bajadesigns 20 inch led bar in behind that grille part. There is a video on you tube the guy added them to his 2020 Pro. I think he has them in the INJ spot in the fuse box.

Has anyone found a Raptor light kit that fits the 2020 Venture grille? The top of the grille does not have a honeycomb pattern. It has the Toyota oval emblem in the middle and some rectangular slots on either side.

I searched everywhere for square raptor lights to for the Venture with no luck. People were saying to get a light bar instead but I love the look of the raptor lights. I ended up buying a TRD Pro grille.

You can do it on the non-pro grille. Just have to go with two instead.
