Help with this part number please...

Hey hey all,

Wanted to reach out to the group to see if you guys with 2020's and 2021's can help with this part number please? It's for the rear cargo area drivers side tail light access cover. I ended up slightly damaging mine with a box i was bringing home from work. It turns out that the original part number 64746-35040-C0 that was on the back of the other, has been CHANGED, and is now a third row cupholder. How do I know this? LOL, I ordered it online, and of course, waited about 12 weeks, then a nice rear seat cupholder (third row) showed up. I'm a bit skeptical, since my parts guy was searching about 35 minutes, and called to the warehouse to make sure this was the right part. Just curious as to what part number you have for this? Would definitely appreciate your help! As always, thanks in advance.

The correct part number is 64746-35030-C0, and is called "Cover, Rear Combination Lamp Service, LH. 64746-35040-C0 is the third row cupholder based upon what I can find. The RH lamp cover is 64745-35040-C0. Whoever pulled your order most likely grabbed the wrong part. Use Parts.Toyota.com as they have good parts diagrams to search if you ever need to find something and don't want to make a trip to the dealer.
