    but I did find this

I drove it a bunch yesterday, monitored the coolant temps via the alpine HU, coolant temp ran 190 to 198 basically, went over 200 once or twice, but most of the time ran 198ish.

i did see the radiator fan run.

That looks like where it’s leaking coolant from to me. If that was mine I’d try replacing the hose and getting a new clamp on there. I like to use the clamps that you can tighten with a screw. Also, the fan is always moving FYI. It’s powered by the serpentine belt, not electronically.

Might be easier to check coolant level in the overflow tank... with a minor leak the radiator will pretty much always be full since it draws from the overflow. Plus with the opaque plastic overflow tank you can mark it with a Sharpie at 'cold' and 'hot' levels to really get an idea of loss.

I’ve been taking photos off the overflow tank, it’s not losing its or it’s very slow at this point.

Take it into the dealer. If you run into even 1 overheat you can ruin an engine.

2005 4runner V6 150,000 miles - owned since brand new. Never had even one overheat
