    Hello Everyone,

I just wanted see what everyone is doing with these Dual battery setups. What battery you chose and why? Size of battery? Which location of the car?

    I appreciate everyone's kind response.

GRoup 34 AGM battery, passenger firewall in a custom modified ballistic fabrication battery box to fit the location while using factory bolts and holes. Westin T-max control system. Has served me well in three 4runners.

I'm creating a setup in my mind for near future install - it will be simple and functional. An OEM size battery (24) mounted on the pass side of engine bay, 4AWG cabling, battery to ground (body/engine), 1 positive 2AWG to winch and one through an isolator to primary battery. Continuous duty solenoid powered through manual switch which will connect aux battery to primary should the need arise. Still in "thinking stage" but this is how I have set up many similar setups before (one being my 2012 Yamaha Rhino).

I have an onboard air compressor on the passenger side, so I got a genesis dual battery kit. It uses two group 25 agm batteries.
