    The side decals I'm not worried about... It's the ones stuck to plastic. So if anyone has removed the front and rear lettering (Toyota front and 4 runner rear, respectively), was it clean or was there some ghosting where you still kind of see where the lettering was. Mine is brand new so I dont think there would be any as the area around the lettering has had a chance to absorb any wear. Usually a little goo gone or rubbing alcohol blends in ghosting from letters but this is plastic not paint.

    another thing you might run into are dimples. Not sure how the oem’s are mounted, but replicas have dimples for each letter as a guide.

    Also, you can buy replica ones with no letters and no dimples.

    if it were me, I would remove the oem one as a whole and leave the letters intact. Just buy a replica without letters and sell the oem one to me :yes:
