Retrofitting limited seats into other models.

I just ordered a 2016 Trail Premium for my wife and wanted to know if anyone has swapped the heated/cooled seats from a Limited into their 4Runners.

 

I've never have seen or heard of anyone doing this on a forum... why not just buy the Limited in the first place?

If you get it swapped out would be cool to hear how you did it

 

We like to car camp and the Trail Premium is going to be part of that plan, a limited has some desirable features but not enough to make us want one instead of the TP.

 

Understood. I think if the Limited came with Crawl Control it'd be perfect for my needs... it'd be the closest thing to a mini Land Cruiser with this single addition feature, which is probably why they don't do it since it's 40K cheaper. haha

It would be full time 4wd then with center diff and crawl control/ mts...

Come to think of it the cheaper route may be to buy a Limited and retrofit the Crawl Control MTS into it if possible... I know a guy did it on a SR5 model: sure v-6 vice v-8 and 5spd vice 8 spd tranny but those differences are not worth 40K to me.
