Best solution for supplementing stock headlights?

Apologies in advance for a question that will seem dumb to y'all with experience adding light bars and such. But even after reading a slew of posts etc I can't quite figure it out.

While my first choice would be to retrofit the OEM 2021 LED headlights onto my 2020 Limited, I'm not sure if or how well that can really work. I don't want to risk screwing that up as a DIY project, and I'm not seeing shops or dealers offering to do it. So I'm wondering about solutions to improve downroad illumination without changing my stock headlights.

So, is there a LED light bar for behind the grill, or any other kind of add-on lighting, that does what great headlights are supposed to do? I'm looking for farther, wider and brighter illumination down road, without blinding other drivers. Not looking for ditch lights or better fogs etc -- looking for something that works so well as headlights that it won't matter how crappy the OEM headlights are.

PS I've already done the H9 swap, won't waste time or money experimenting with drop-in LEDs, and for various reasons don't want to hack in HIDs.

I know you said further throw with lighting, but for wider lighting the DD SS3 Pro fog lights are amazing for it. The have a super wide lighting pattern and really light up the sides and below the headlight beam, but don’t offer any throw past the headlights. Just thought I’d mention it!

 

Thanks mtbpsych. This could be a good fall back solution if the thing I’m looking for isn’t feasible. I did have the OEM LED fogs installed and they do help — but they could also be a lot brighter.

 

HID's are plug and play and just require you to drill the dust caps which takes 30 seconds.

They are far and away the brightest and yield barely and extra glare. There is no comparison short of a full retrofit

That is less invasive than the light bar or other options you mentioned.
