Hey So Cal! Went up to the Sierra, this last weekend. Weather was beautiful! Nights/early mornings were breezy with the rest of the days, warm! Very dry for this time of year. Hope y'all get out there!

Does that area need 4 wheel drive and is it accessible from that road of Hwy 14?

Highway 14, to 9 mile Canyon Road, to Sherman Pass Road - Past Blackrock Ranger Station, to Monache Jeep Trail - 2 Wheel Drive. I have gotten back to Monache Meadows in 2 wheel drive in summer.

Thanks. I went up there last weekend just to scope it out. Didn't do much exploring off road being by myself. I can't even count how many 4Runner groups I saw. Gotta join up with one one of these days. Beautiful place.
