    Hi all,

As I am over here Googling 5th Generation 4RUNNER alignment results (in order to figure out if mine are decent), I thought it would be very useful to keep a main thread going where folks can post what alignment results they were able to attain with various lift components. I hope that this can become a single source with enough data to deliver fair expectations when lifting / aligning. Of course, we all know that "every truck is different."

So with that in mind, I would really appreciate any data points that y'all are able to provide!

    Please include your...
    - Suspension Modifications: (Front and Rear Springs and Shocks, UCA's, etc.)
    - Actual Lift Achieved: (If you measured before and after)
    - Front-End Alignment Results: (Pic, or FL/FR Camber, Caster, and Toe)
    - Where it was Performed and Cost:

    Cheers!

    I'll start...

    - Suspension Modifications: Eibach Pro-Truck Sport shocks front and rear (bottom perch up front), OME 2883 springs front, Bilstein 1" lift springs rear
    - Actual Lift Achieved: 2-1/8" front, 1" rear
    - Front-End Alignment Results: 2.5/2.4 caster, 0.1/0.0 camber, toe right in middle of spec
    - Where it was Performed and Cost: Toyota Dealer Service Dept. @ $120

Thoughts on those alignment figures with my hardware?

I had high hopes, but the dealer was quick to beat down my expectations.. they know what they are doing there, lol. That said, I feel that they did indeed do a fair job. When looking at my adjustment cams/bolts, it looks like they could add more caster, but that might not be fair to assume. The rear of the LCA is not pushed all the way "out," but maybe they couldn't leave it there and have decent camber.

The vehicle definitely does not drive as well as it did stock, but it's not "bad." With 2.5* of caster and 33.4" tires (not sure if that makes a difference or not), I can definitely understand the argument to go with aftermarket UCA's on pretty much any amount of lift (assuming my stock adjustment is maxed out). I would absolutely hope for, and expect, better drive-ability with ~4* of caster. At this point, I honestly do not know what I will do with my vehicle. The truck drives "ok," but I'm not one to mod anything and accept detrimental effects anywhere.. so we shall see. In the end, this was a bit of an experiment for me as I'm new to lifting trucks. If I could do it all again, I would have skipped this $1,000 lift and gone straight for the $4,000 lift. That said, I've yet to actually experience the $4,000 lift, so who knows how much better it would be?

When it comes to the drive... the steering wheel does not return to center quite as easily/quickly after making a turn; the vehicle does not want to "go straight" as easily, but requires more input from my end (this gets worse as speeds rise); at the same time, the steering is not as responsive by a fair margin; the truck now seems to pull ever-so-slightly to the right (which comes with a not-perfectly-centered steering wheel when traveling straight), and oddly, I seem to feel more bumps in the road.. (though that could certainly be in my mind). Like I said.. it's not "bad," but I feel that it could absolutely be better.. and perhaps the best word would be, more "crisp." The steering, overall, feels a bit more lazy. I am pretty sure that all of this is due to low caster.
