Door lock beep

Anybody know ow to turn off door locking beep besides going to mechanic?

 

I turned mine down with carista, ill have to check but I am pretty sure it will turn it off also.

 

I haven't actually tested it, but found what looks like the appropriate option on my 2021. Hope this does it for you.

Menu
> Set up
> Vehicle (on left menu)
> Vehicle customization
> Door lock settings
> Lock/Unlock Feedback Tone option at the end of the list
> Adjust volume to 0​

 

I wish I could do this .. but my old runner does not have these

Carista or Toyota's Techstream software.

Carista is easy and cheap, you can do all the stuff you want for a one time OBD dongle purchase and a month long subscription; total about $30.

 

I used it to finally be able to hear mine lock. Another thing that always bothered me with my Jeeps and now with my 4R is needing to press the fob twice to unlock rear doors. I was able to change that too. That's a win in my book.

 

Man I still get the feedback tone. I have tried changing it to 0 with no luck...
