    Hi all -

went out yesterday and a nice young salesperson at Discount Tire hooked me up with a package on BFG K02's (stock size) to replace the tires that came on my 2021 Off-Road. After I came home, I started thinking (probably the first(second?) mistake) and wanted to poll the forum: are these DX4 wheels going to do anything different than the OEM wheels besides the esthetics of the truck? They have the little lugs around the outside that I interpret as part of the beadlocker functionality but, as I understood it, proper "beadlock wheels" have something that's either pinching or penetrating thru the tire lip to hold it in place and prevent the bead from breaking when the tires are at lower pressures. Again, is the new wheel going to provide any difference here, or am I spending $750 on "pretty"?

The decision just got a lot easier: the DX4's are 5 weeks out. I told them to yank them off the order. :)

The biggest reason to get aftermarket wheels is to get better clearance without using spacers.

My tires would hit my front upper control arms without spacers or aftermarket wheels.
