So i have periods of constant clicking and grinding coming from under passenger side dash near the center console. All functions of my air conditioner are working fine. So I am concluding that it is probably a faulty blend door where there are likely broken plastic cog teeth. As near as I can tell, the proper Toyota part number is 87106-04030.

I know from diagrams that this piece is located under the passenger side dash at the far left near the center console. Does anyone have any experience with this replacement? What things need to be removed (if any). I am guessing the glove box for sure but is there another dash piece that must be removed? If so, are there a lot of attached wiring harnesses? Thanks.
