I still use the cassette player on my 4runner, I noticed that sometimes it plays the music too slow. I think the rubber drive belt inside the stereo is getting old and stretched. There is no information anywhere about what belt it takes. Finding the perfect replacement belt is important to the speed and how the music sounds, too tight and it will play to fast.

Do you think Toyota ever made a service guide with parts for the stock stereo? (its a double din with the single CD + cassette player)

I’m not sure I can remove my deck it has an electronic disabling feature tied to the alarm system. But I would give this a try rather than replacing with available head units out there today....79E8BF72-F01D-4F12-824E-2DC8BEDB1DAA.jpg
