Brake goes rock solid. Scared as fuck

My brakes are usually pretty soft and touchy

Well.. Recently I have started having an issue where my brake just gets stiff as fuck.
When putting my foot on the brake at first it seems natural, but as soon as I give it some brake then it seems like it pushes back and gets hard, almost like I put some Oobleck in my brakes. When it slows down to a certain point it feels normal, but I have a mini-heart attack each time my brakes do this. Would love you guys knowledge. Thank you for you guys help up to this point. You guys dont even know what I would do without you!

 

Start here. Check your vacumn lines to the brake booster and in general for(cracks, cuts, loose fitting, etc.) - or it could be the booster itself.

 

My first action is always to attach an OBD tool and check on any codes that may be in memory

 

Sounds like a typical brake booster issue. That is where I would look first.
