Swapped out the OEM shift knobs for Ellis Precision set. I actually didn't hate the big knobby OEM gear selector as much as I though I would, but I prefer these.

Wife saw them and immediately made a sex toy joke.

My Audew finally arrived. Got it charging up, and I'll stash it in the 4Runner tomorrow. I figure at some point in the future this thing will come in very handy, whether it's for my sake, or to help somebody else out.

That’s what I’ve done also. I’ve never needed a jump start for myself but I’ve provided many for others, with cables. This Audew is new to me, I haven’t used it yet. But recharge it every few months.

With a 6.0l diesel I cannot get jumped besides with a truck with 2 batteries also. I do however keep jumpers in my truck & on my trailer to (if needed jump my mower) but usually to jump someone @ a gas station I find myself at in the summer out mowing.
I love helping. Just in the winter I am in rush mode & cannot help people who are ignorant or ill equipped to start with. I gotta make money.
Thanks to all that help others!

I recently put in a throttle body spacer. It’s supposed to mix up the air and make it better available for the burn. I may have noticed a little bit more power but my miles per gallon has been dropping a little. I bought the unit at trailers.com and wondered if anybody else has tried one of these.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
I've heard conflicting reports on these. If you look at videos on You Tube you'll find some videos of dyno results that show a mild increase in power and some that show nothing so it may be that some intakes are designed better than others and a spacer helps with poorer designs. Does it help with our 4.0's? Your guess is as good as mine.

Very nice. It makes a big difference. Did you use an on/off toggle switch, limit switch, mercury switch?

It's using reed switch. The leds turn on as soon as the hood is opened. But I also added a waterproof toggle switch for the times when I'm working on the car during the day and the hood might be open for hours. No point for the LEDs to be on.

That’s a good setup. I used an illuminated latching push button.

I see this a lot on the forum, are exhaust on the T4r's annoying or something? I have a Gibson on my 2012 Tacoma and like it a lot, was thinking of a catback for my T4r but with so many removing them it has me suspect.
