Anyone running some sort of Comms gear in they’re Gen 2’s ?

I treated myself to a new Cobra Classic 29 Ltd in my Gen 2 and I also have a Yaesu FT-60r handheld with PL-259 adapter so I can run to a mag mount antenna if I want too. That will change soon as I decide which mobile to go with.

One downside is our Gen doesn’t afford much extra room for mounting this stuff. I think I may end up cutting out my center console and heat and making a dedicated radio station in its place.

I installed a Uniden CB in place of the ash tray.

I think my Ham will go in the cubby under the Am-Fm. I’m looking though today at measuring and making my own center console that would hold both radio’s facing up stacked with a small space between.
