How much tranny fluid does it take?

I had the strawberry milkshake syndrome so I ordered a new radiator a new trans filter and gasket and I started to flush my trans and I am literally on 32 quarts of flushing. So how much more will it take or there's no set number? Just do it till it's done?

 

Yeah. I think the whole system takes likes 16 quarts or so...so doing the flush, it's not a straight "flush", some continues to mix even as you add.

I just had old black fluid and I went like 32Qts and it was still a bit darker than the new stuff when I stopped. I will do more again this year.

If you can't get it to where it should be, then take it to a shop.

 

It takes a LOT. All you can do is keep putting fresh in until it runs out the same color you're putting in.
The only alternative is take it to a tranny shop. Let them drop it and really flush it thoroughly. I'm not certain, but I'll wager do-it-yourself is cheaper overall.
Make sure you give it a good operational test once you're done. This situation can damage the relays in the tranny.
I trust you DID replace the radiator and flushed the cooling system? Using the Toyota Red coolant, of course? If you didn't replace the radiator, all you're doing is putting in more milkshake ingredients. IE: You're wasting your time and money.
