Not mine, but these guys were stuck last week on Peavine Peak, north of Reno. Nice looking crew though.

My 5th gen did the same thing. Welded nuts for the skid plate lost their weld. Toyota fixed it under warranty, but they were baffled. "I've got my two most experienced mechanics looking at it, and we still can't figure out what happened." So I asked a dangerous questions, "Could it have been from a strong front-end impact? There was one time when I did hit a berm pretty hard." They said, "No, we don't think so."

Yeah I was blaming the company that installed my skid plates the entire time thinking they put the screws in there. Then once I got everything out I realized it wasn’t them it was Toyota who has the nuts in there. I think it was cheap welding and I didn’t have time for warranty so I went with my makeshift option. Now I don’t think that will ever happen again. I used anti-seize on every bolt.

I am glad Toyota took care of you though and you got it fixed under warranty.

Thanks for picking up the litter! I once read a comment in regard to litter "Instead of complaining about it, do something about it - pick it up" Carry on!

Most of the guys we travel the trails with (including us) keep garbage tongs, gloves and garbage bags + bio hazmat bags for cleaning up the trails we are on. It is amazing how bad some areas are. The Rubicon is disgusting. It is not fun taking the 6 year old out when you are worried about "land mines" everywhere off the trail

Every weekend we pick up garbage, including at the staging area. The great outdoors and trash is antithetical

This is the Hummingbird Springs Trail outside of Tonopah, AZ. 27 miles long, it runs between Hummingbird Springs Wilderness and Bighorn Mountain Wilderness.

It's been good. I don't carry a lot weight up there. I also use it dog poop carrier, smell is outside. One pair of the boards will be going on my teardrop when I get it, and I'll mount an awning instead.

I always wonder who the pieces of shit are that are like "hey let's go explore some beautiful wilderness", and then toss their trash all over it. Fuck. Them.

    Miller Boat Line FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spent a lot of time on SBI. But I preferred Kelley's, personally! Put-In-Bay from 2015 when we still lived in Ohio...
